Travis Wolcott

Travis Wolcott has been a fire practitioner as a volunteer structural firefighter, and a wildfire researcher, working on evacuation simulations, prescribed burn weather modeling and their use in burn programs, fire speed, and wildfire building code effects on construction costs. Wolcott is very interested in the relationship between researchers and practitioners as well as effectively transferring disaster mitigation and preparedness knowledge from the official sphere to the public.
