William Sweet

William Sweet is advancing sea level and coastal flood science and services for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). He has co-led several agency and interagency efforts including NOAA’s high tide flood assessments, the U.S. Sea Level Rise Task Force, the Department of Defense’s Coastal Assessment Regional Scenario Working Group and chapters within the 4th and 5th National Climate Assessments. Sweet received his master's and PhD in oceanography from North Carolina State University.
