Hurricane Katrina: Ten Years Later

August 2015 marks ten years since the U.S. Gulf region experienced Hurricane Katrina, one of the most catastrophic disasters in the history of the nation. Recovery is still incomplete in many areas and Katrina survivors have endured other major disasters since then, including other hurricanes and the BP oil spill. This plenary features highlights from research and provides updates on the post-Katrina recovery process.
