The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine are accepting nominations to serve on an independent committee that will review the draft report of the Fourth National Climate Assessment. The draft assessment, which will focus on regional effects of climate change in the United States, is slated to be released in the fall. The Environmental Data and Government Initiative is looking for volunteers to assist with tracking and classify changes related to environmental information on federal websites. Volunteers should be able to commit 5-10 hours per week and monitor web information over a three-day cycle.
