Ways to Contribute
Submit Now!
Interested in contributing to the 2025 Researchers Meeting? If so, please submit an abstract or roundtable idea by February 28, 2025!
Researchers from all disciplines are invited to submit abstracts focused on any topic related to hazards and disasters. There are two ways to contribute to the Researchers Meeting:
Present Your Research. In this format, speakers will have 10 to 12 minutes to share their research using PowerPoint slides, with an additional 3 to 5 minutes for audience Q&A. Presentations will be organized into concurrent sessions featuring 4 to 6 presentations on a common topic.
Lead a Roundtable Discussion. Roundtables are discussion-based and will be centered around the topic that you describe in your submission. Rather than presenting scholarly research material, roundtable organizers will facilitate a dialogue with the audience on a key research-focused thematic area.

Registration for the Researchers Meeting can be added to the Natural Hazards Workshop registration or is available at a stand-alone rate. Once registration opens, both options will be available on the registration page.
