Special Wenchuan Earthquake Issue of Disasters

The Tsinghua University Center for Crisis Management Research is accepting submissions for a special issue of Disasters which will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake. The issue of disaster as a mechanism for institutional change will be explored, and papers related to disaster-induced learning and disaster-induced changes are particularly welcome. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Public Health Law Program is now accepting applications for summer internships or externships. The 9-14 week programs will give students the opportunity to gain work experience in the areas of tribal public health law or administrative and communication fields.
