Postdoctoral Associate, Natural-Human Systems

This position is will contribute to a National Science Foundation-funded project entitled Restoration and Resilience in Coupled Human-Natural Systems: Reciprocal Dynamics of a Coastal Lagoon. Duties include developing community and stakeholder connections around the project site, mentoring and managing graduate and undergraduate students, conducting fieldwork, coauthoring manuscript, and making conference presentations. A PhD in geography, sociology, or geographic information systems is required. Experience with coastal systems, restoration, participatory action research, environmental sociology or environmental geography is preferred.
