Tonya Haigh
Tonya Haigh is a rural sociologist with the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. Her research focuses on the adaptive capacity of resource managers to cope with drought. Haigh has worked with ranchers, advisors, and researchers to develop the Managing Drought Risk on the Ranch website, and has provided her social science expertise to developing agricultural decision support tools for Corn Belt producers and specialty crop growers.
