A.J. Faas

A.J. Faas is assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology at San Jose State University. He is a sociocultural anthropologist whose research focuses on practices of exchange, social organization, and politics in contexts of environmental crisis – disasters, displacement and resettlement, development, and violent conflict. He has conducted research in Mexico, Ecuador, and the United States.
