Cecilio Ortiz García is currently Hubert Humphrey Distinguished Visiting Professor of energy and governance and environmental studies at Macalester College. He also serves as a professor of political science at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez. Ortiz García's current research concentrates on energy and environmental justice issues and the governance of energy transitions, and its relationship with community resilience.
