Charlie Beller

Natural Hazards Center

Charlie Beller is an undergraduate research assistant at the Natural Hazards Center and is pursuing a degree in Film Production with a minor in Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is interested in making films that concern social justice issues including environmental protection, mental health awareness, and human equality. He hopes to use visual storytelling to advocate for the oppressed and marginalized and hopes to initiate social change through his films. Part of his love for storytelling comes from his mother who was a Presbyterian pastor and his advocacy for the marginalized stems from his relationship with his disabled brother.
