Christina S. Barsky is an assistant professor of public administration and policy at the University of Montana. Her research explores the citizen-state encounter across facets of society, including election administration, administrators, and processes; the provision of public health, emergency management, and social services; public perceptions of policy implementation; and the scholarship of teaching and learning. In her previous career as a practitioner, she held leadership positions with a premier public affairs firm and a regional nonprofit collaborative. She continues to serve as a research and strategy expert through her consultancy.
