Colleen Donovan

Colleen Donovan provides expertise and support to wildfire practitioners, community organizations, and local leaders living and working in the wildland urban interface to implement the Wildfire Research Center (WiRē) approach. She is the day-to-day point of contact for WiRē partners. Donovan has over 16 years of experience applying social science research in a variety of applications and providing strategic project management support for local, state, federal, and tribal natural resource agencies. Donovan holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and environmental biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment.
