Daire R. Jansson

Daire R. Jansson Glanville is an assistant professor of Public Health and Research at Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. As a disaster epidemiologist, Jansson specializes in considerations for at-risk and marginalized populations in public health disaster contexts. Her research has spanned topics such as disaster vulnerability and outcomes, health disparities, environmental health, and infectious disease. She has also worked in varied public health practice settings to further federal, state, and local disaster preparedness and response efforts. Jansson received her Bachelor of Arts in history from Rollins College in 2016; her Master of Public Health, with dual concentrations in biosecurity & disaster preparedness and epidemiology, from Saint Louis University in 2019; and her Doctor of Philosophy in public health sciences from the University of Tennessee in 2025. Additionally, she is Certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
