David Retchless

David Retchless has a PhD in geography from Penn State and is an assistant professor in the Department of Marine and Coastal Environmental Science at Texas A&M University at Galveston. He is broadly interested in the role of geospatial tools in risk perception and communication, with a focus on applications related to coastal hazards and climate change. His recent work applies techniques from many fields, including cartography, climate change communication, user centered design, mobile application development, and augmented and mixed reality studies.
