Elizabeth Albright
Elizabeth A. Albright is an associate professor of the Practice and the Dan and Bunny Gabel Chair of Environmental Ethics and Sustainable Management at the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. Albright examines what drives and/or inhibits local-level resilience and community learning in response to extreme events. Current projects include studying response to the Marshall Fire in Colorado and perceptions of and policy response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Albright has published on response to extreme events, perceptions of climate change, inequities in access to water infrastructure, policy processes, and stakeholder participation in state-level regulatory processes.
