Elizabeth Colón Rivera

Elizabeth Colón’s professional experience extends more than 10 years, working with nonprofits and developing community development projects. She served as Secretary and past Chair of the Board of Directors of Ponce Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS). She currently leads Ponce NHS as the executive director, is part of the Consultant Committee in the Fideicomiso de Desarrollo de Vivienda, and is treasurer in the Southern Economic Development district. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and a master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in criminal justice from Ana G. Mendez University.
