Eric Yamashita

Yamashita is the associate director for technology and innovation at the University of Hawaii’s National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC). Yamashita has over 30 years of experience in applying geospatial technologies, statistical and data analysis, and developing new applications for visualizing data products and services supporting urban planning and disaster management activities. Yamashita has degrees in geography and urban planning from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
