Frances Gonzalez Crespo

Frances Gonzalez Crespo was born in Puerto Rico on May 31st, 1992. After taking an elective psychology class in high school, she discovered sociology, where she sought to understand the forces behind personal beliefs in society. Gonzalez Crespo pursued a sociology degree at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez, where she had the opportunity to participate in student associations and worked at the National Institute of Energy and Island Sustainability. In 2019 Gonzalez Crespo obtained a master's in rehabilitation counseling from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico Ponce. In January 2020, because of the seismic activity in Puerto Rico, she volunteered to work as a regional coordinator for The RISE Network.
