Greg Guannel

Greg Guannel is the director of the Green Caribbean Center (CGTC) at the University of the Virgin Islands. The mission of the CGTC is to enhance the resilience and sustainable development of the U.S. Virgin Islands on topics related to infrastructure resilience, renewable energy, sustainable material management, and water resources management. Originally from the Caribbean, Greg has an M.S. in civil engineering from the Ecole Supérieure des Travaux Publics (Paris), an M.S. in ocean and coastal engineering from Texas A&M University, and a PhD in civil engineering from Oregon State University.
