Jacki Chavez

Jacki Chavez is a current student in the Bachelor of Applied Science emergency services administration program at Arapahoe Community College. Her educational background includes a BA in anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a MS in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise and sport psychology from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Recently, she completed a research assistantship under Peter Loebach of Arapahoe Community College that focused on evaluating local Emergency Operations Centers in Colorado for trends and patterns on structure, staffing, and program development. Chavez currently works in local government with a focus in safety and risk management as well as emergency management and accessibility.
