Jane Henrici is an anthropologist with over 20 years of experience in the Americas, Asia, and Africa researching and publishing on gender and intersectionality with 10+ examining disasters and recovery. Henrici works as a senior consulting researcher, gender advisor, and lecturer at The George Washington University. Her doctorate is from the University of Texas-Austin, her master’s from the University of Chicago, and her honors include being a Fulbright Scholar in Peru. In 2020, she directed four small-scale COVID-19 studies, including one with Aojie Ju concerning Wuhan residents. For 2021, she co-leads a larger project about cascading disasters in Puerto Rico.
