Jason Ramel

Jason Ramel is a hazard mitigation planner with Michael Baker International. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in finance and urban planning from Miami University of Ohio and a master's of urban planning degree from New York University's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, where he studied international development planning. During his academic career, Ramel researched local governance systems in Caribbean nations within the context of emergency management, the movement of religious groups across Vietnam, and the prevalence of wildfires in the Arctic. In addition, he is a lifelong swimmer, avid reader, and an active outdoorsman.
