Jen Smith
Save the Children
Jen Smith has been part of Save the Children’s U.S. Emergencies Team since 2013 and has worked to support response, recovery and preparedness programs. She currently manages the program design, implementation, and assessment of the community preparedness portfolio including the Resilient Children/Resilient Communities initiative and is passionate about empowering communities to be better prepared to protect children in times of crises.
Smith has ten years of project management experience and specializes in program development and operations support in the public and non-profit sectors. Before joining Save the Children, she worked as program manager leading health, education, and nutrition projects in London and Guatemala. Smith has a bachelor's in international relations from SUNY New Paltz and her Master of Laws degree in international human rights law from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
