Jeroen Warner

Jeroen Warner is a senior associate professor of crisis and disaster studies at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Warner has researched, published, lectured, and given trainings on domestic and transboundary water conflict and co-operation, water governance, and hydrological disaster risk. He has coordinated a project on multi-stakeholder negotiation in catchment management, and a European Horizon Project on urban cultures and disasters. Warner has published over 100 scientific and professional articles and several books. Warner's current research interests include the role of culture in flood resilience, the politics of disaster risk reduction, and the role of disasters in international relations.
