Jesse Palma

Jesse Palma is a student researcher within the Department of Political Science and Geography at Old Dominion University. She studies Environment and Resource Geography, Civil Engineering Technology, and Geographic Information Systems. Her work primarily focuses on coastal geography and the synergy of ecology and socioeconomics within the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States regions. As a native of coastal Virginia, Palma is dedicated to advancing knowledge on coastal development, green infrastructure planning, and disaster resiliency with an emphasis on rural communities and at-risk populations.
