Joane Nagel

Joane Nagel is a University Distinguished Professor of Sociology at the University of Kansas. She is a political and cultural sociologist whose work focuses on gender and global climate change. Her recent publications include Gender and Climate Change and “Gender, Conflict, and the Militarization of Climate Change” in Peace Review. She currently is working on a book, Toxic Femininity: Menstruation, Misogyny, and Mobilization.
