Katherine Teague is an undergraduate research assistant with the Natural Hazards Center (NHC), working closely with the team on clearinghouse activities. They are a senior majoring in neuroscience and psychology with a molecular, cellular, and developmental biology minor at the University of Colorado Boulder (UC Boulder). Teague was also the social media coordinator and secretary for Out in STEM at UC Boulder, a student organization focusing on helping LGBTQ+ students excel in STEM fields. Teague is also a research assistant for the Environment, Decision, Judgement, and Identity Lab–an interdisciplinary psychology lab focusing on the cognitive, emotional, and social influences on attitudes towards important issues such as climate change. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. Teague enjoys cooking, playing video games, and creative writing in their spare time.
