Kathryn Olszowy is a biomedical anthropologist and assistant professor at New Mexico State University. Her research interests are contemporary human population health, adaptation, and variation. She is specifically interested in social and structural factors influencing non-communicable chronic disease risk. She has conducted research related to these interests internationally and domestically, including in the Republic of Vanuatu, and Doña Ana County, New Mexico.
