Leanne Giordono is an assistant professor of public policy at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Her research is focused on public policy decisions—how policy changes arise and how such changes impact individuals, families, and communities—especially in the face of global economic and climatic shifts. Giordono offers expertise in both social and environmental policy, as well as fifteen years of professional experience conducting applied policy research. She received her PhD in public policy from Oregon State University and she holds a master's of public administration from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
