Leslie Straker

Leslie Straker (PhD) is academically trained in inland water and coastal resource management at the doctoral level and has conducted research in those areas in a number of countries in different regions of the world (the Caribbean, Asia, and United Kingdom). He is also a trained disaster management and assessment professional. He teaches environmental science courses that highlight environmental resource management in the Biological and Environmental Sciences Department at Longwood University. He also has practitioner experience in managing coastal resources at a country and regional level in the Caribbean context.
