Meredith Jagger

Meredith Jagger is a data scientist, epidemiologist, and independent researcher residing in Austin, Texas. During a decade in public health practice, she developed expertise in syndromic surveillance, climate and health, disaster epidemiology, and population surveys. Her current research focuses on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the public health workforce and using environmental data to enhance the understanding of climate-sensitive health outcomes after disasters. In Jagger's role at Austin Energy, she applies a health and climate equity lens to her analysis of utility customer behavior and energy efficiency program outcomes.
