Qing Miao is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Rochester Institute of Technology. Her research areas include environmental economics and policy, science and technology policy, and public finance. Her current work seeks to understand the economic impact of climate hazards as well as the social behavior related to climate adaptation and natural hazard mitigation. Her research has been published in journals including the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, National Tax Journal, Risk Analysis, Land Economics, and Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
