Richard V. King

Richard King serves as assistant director of the American College of Surgeons Division of Education and heads the college’s Clinical Congress and Surgical Skills Courses section. His prior professional efforts include the development of education and training programs for disaster response, teaching first responders, conducting disaster research, and quality management of regional emergency medical services. King served in the Texas hurricane response efforts following Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Dolly, Gustav, and Ike.
