Sameer H. Shah

Sameer Shah is an interdisciplinary environmental social scientist with expertise in political ecology and the social dimensions of climate change vulnerability. His research explores how systemic marginalization and climate-related change interact to amplify uneven water, food, and energy insecurities in the global south. Through his research, he seeks to advance interventions that reduce the disproportionately more significant risks experienced by marginalized groups and shape long-term policy strategies that transform the underlying systems that heighten climate impacts.
