Natural Hazards Center
Sandra Appiah is an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder studying molecular, cellular, and developmental biology with a pre-medical emphasis and minoring in sociology. She is a Colorado native and hopes to use her health-centered education to advocate for the health care and support of marginalized populations within the vulnerable areas of Aurora, Colorado. In addition to working in the Natural Hazards Center, Appiah is also involved with the Cultural Events Board on campus and a behavioral endocrinology lab. In her free time, Appiah loves hanging out with her pets, family, and reading.
