Sebawit Bishu

Sebawit (Seba) Bishu is an assistant professor of public management at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington Seattle. She also holds a non-resident research fellowship appointment at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Women and Public Policy Program. Bishu’s research asks: “How do societal, organizational, and managerial level factors shape public organizations’ and bureaucrats’ behaviors and decisions?" Her scholarly work is informed by her lived experiences in Africa and the United States, and it aims at improving equity performance of public organizations.
