Sophie Guilbault
Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction
Sophie Guilbault joined the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR) in 2013. She completed her master's at Tulane University in disaster resilience leadership studies. She also holds a Master of Architecture degree from Laval University. At ICLR, Sophie is leading the Cities Adapt research program, which has resulted in the publication of a series of books celebrating local leadership in adapting to extreme weather events. She is also managing the Quick Response Grant Program and the Marine Environmental Observation Prediction and Response Network research on hurricane warnings in Atlantic Canada.
