Stephen Boyle

Stephen Boyle has worked in the fire service for over 30 years. He started as a resident firefighter what was then the Avon Fire Department. He was also stationed in Antarctica for a year as a rescue firefighter. Boyle currently works with the Leadville/ Lake County Fire Rescue Fire Department in Lake County Colorado. As the Fire Marshal for over 10 years, the Fire Department installed over 700 residential smoke detectors and over 100 carbon monoxide detectors in residential homes for free. Every year they teach at the Intermediate School of over 100 students on disaster preparedness and evacuations in the home.
