Sylvain Fanielle

Sylvain Fanielle is a PhD Candidate at the Research Group on International Politics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. His research focuses on the security of radioactive materials in hospitals. He is also an associate research fellow at the Group for Research and Information on Peace and Security (GRIP). Fanielle previously worked at the Belgian Federal Agency for Nuclear Control and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he dealt with nuclear non-proliferation, safeguards and security. He recently published an article “Towards nuclear disarmament: state of affairs in the international legal framework” (Nuclear Law Bulletin No.97).
