Tarek Abichou

Tarek Abichou is a professor of civil and environmental engineering. Abichou received his master’s and PhD form the University of Wisconsin in Madison. His research includes designing, analyzing, and testing different components of landfills and other waste containment infrastructures and investigating the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions from landfills Abichou’s research interests include storm debris management, geotechnics of coastal resiliency, living shorelines, and sustainable solid waste management
