Toshiaki Yoshida
Toshiaki Yoshida (Toshi) is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Science at Northeastern University, specializing in comparative politics and quantitative methodology. His research focuses on broadly environmental politics. Specifically, Yoshida's research focuses on the interaction and conflict between government and business entities that attempt to place large infrastructure in targeted communities and civil society. His second project aims to unpack how the Japanese local fishing association reacts to such siting plans.
