Tracy Fehr

Tracy Fehr is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research interests include international human rights, gender, conflict, and transitional justice in the context of Nepal. She is currently working on two research projects focused in post-earthquake Nepal, looking at the unintended consequences of post-disaster development on local communities and the experiences of widows before, during, and after the 2015 earthquakes. Fehr has a master’s in international studies and has experience working in Washington D.C. on issues related to African human rights policy and advocacy, as well as in Kathmandu, Nepal as a senior research fellow at the Institute for Crisis Management Studies and as a field research consultant for Women for Human Rights.
