Victoria Torres

Victoria Torres is a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Mississippi. Her research focuses on trauma and health psychology. Before graduate school, Torres worked with the Warrior's Research Institute (WRI), a team dedicated to improving individuals' lives in high-risk professions, including military and fire service. With the WRI, she garnered a mentored research grant that funded a project on traumatic brain injury in firefighters. As a graduate student, Torres has collaborated with the Clinical-Disaster Research Center (CDRC) team to author a book chapter on resilience among first responders.
