Waleska Sanabria León

Waleska Sanabria León is an anthropologist with a master's from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, and a doctoral degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She also holds a professional certification in bioethics from the Eugenio Maria de Hostos, Institute of Bioethics, from the Medical Science Campus, from the University of Puerto Rico. Sanabria León's research focuses on bioculture, biomedicine, bioethics, ethnicity, migration, gender, globalization, health, and the environment. She is currently an assistant professor and chair of the social science and history department at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus.
