Wei Li is a bilingual (English/Chinese) and bicultural geographer specializing in Asian Americanist research. She has expertise in immigrant settlement, financial dynamics and transnational connections, and global migration. Her recent work includes customizing the Center for Disease Control’s Social Vulnerability Index to explain the patterns of Asian COVID-19 infection rate, as well as anti-Asian racist incidents and hate crimes.
