Xiaoyu Li is a highly motivated and driven Ph.D. student in the field of urban and regional science at Texas A&M University. His research interests are centered on exploring the relationship between the urban thermal environment, human health, and human behavior. Drawing from a robust academic foundation in civil engineering and landscape architecture, Li brings a unique perspective to his research by incorporating urban physical environment, outdoor space design, and human health. His current work focused on the neighborhood/community scale, in an attempt to delineate issues of environmental justice, and thermal adaptation behavior for the underserved residential community.
