Xilei Zhao

Xilei Zhao is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at the University of Florida. She received her master's of science in engineering in applied mathematics and statistics and a PhD in civil engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 2017. Zhao specializes in applying data science (data analytics, machine learning, optimization, and simulation), complex systems modeling, and risk assessment to tackle challenging problems in transportation and resilience.
