Jasmine Yiyuan Qin

Yiyuan Jasmine Qin is the co-founder and director of re+connect, a social venture that builds civic technology to connect people and data to close the last-mile disaster relief gap. A hybrid sustainability specialist and social entrepreneur, she brings together academic and professional experiences in environmental management, disaster resilience, and digital development. Qin integrates data analytics, humanity-centered design, and system thinking to co-create sustainable and just solutions with stakeholders. She has earned a master's in engineering and management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master's in environmental management from Yale University, and a bachelor's in environmental science from Colby College.
