With less than a week left to submit your ideas for the 43rd Annual Natural Hazards Research and Applications Workshop, we're hoping you'll take a few moments and let us know how your work fits in with our program theme, Twenty Questions: Looking for Answers to Reduce Disaster Risk.

As you'll see, this year's Workshop, which will be held July 8-11 in Broomfield, Colorado, is centered around 20 big, ambitious questions that attempt to get at the heart of how we can truly make progress toward alleviating disaster impacts. In these times of escalating disasters and their repercussions, it's crucial that we find solutions to these questions—and it's critical that we have your input.

We hope you'll take a look at all Twenty Questions and then submit your ideas using our online form. Please act soon, as the contributions page will close on March 7, 2018.

We'll be opening Workshop registration soon, so please set aside July 8-11 and also note that we are co-convening a researcher's meeting with the International Research Committee on Disasters immediately after the Workshop on July 11-12. More information is on the way, so if you haven't already, please sign up for our Workshop Information and get updates in your inbox!
